We surveyed over 200 members of Gen Z. interviewed 12,
and compiled over 40 research articles. It was crucial to get
as diverse a sample size so all possible age ranges of Gen Z.
were included. Our findings indicated that typically, people do
not think about eye health problems until something happens,
usually as they get older.
However, research shows that Gen Z. is interested in taking an
active role in their health journeys and would be open to engaging
with preventative care. The biggest roadblocks is that they
feel their schedules are too busy to make time for it, and that it is
cost prohibitive.
These factors make sense as Gen Z. is currently in a very
transitional and unstable stage of life.
So how do you reach an audience who feels pressed for time and
money? You meet them where they are already, and invest in
their futures.
